Can Lenny Kravitz love his self any more?

Paradis is GREAT, dont get me wrong from the title but just by looking at the material in the cd, she seems to be the bystander. Lenny either wrote , produced, directed, arranged, etc EVERY single track on the cd. Even one called Got To Have It of course, about how he can be gone, treat her like crap, but I've got to have it, his name is Lenny Kravitz". Seriously, who could write a song about themselves with lyrics like that? I realize he was her boyfriend at the time, but come on, they list everyone who plays on each song and Paradis is listed a s background vocals???????? I sure wish she of had a better, more creative for her, and less ego maniac boyfriend who had more talent to do songs better suited for her than to play up him. If you stripped this of all vocals, you'd still know it was him as easily as recognizing Brian Mays guitar or Rod Stewarts voice. This positivly is an album for the Lenny fans not the Vanessa fans. It should of been called Ode to me by Lenny Kravitz w/ a very small bit of Paradis leaking thru. Some ok songs melody wise by simplistic lyrics. Glad I have some of her other stuff. If this would of been my first cd, I never would of bought another, now I just make sure he isnt on one before I buy!!Read full review...
