It's colourful, sentimental and tuneful, and the pairing of Doris Day and Gordon MacRae, a regular feature of the early Fifties, is pure tonic in terms of personality and likeability. If you like romance along with great songs, you should enjoy this one. For Doris Day and Gordon MacRae fans it's a real treat. If you aren't into sugary sweet plots, boy meets girl, falls in love, a few misunderstandings on the way and then they live happily ever after all set to music, it's probably not for you.
