Accurate and well made
The gauge is accurate when compared with a reference, and is easy to use. The one problem I had was in holding it onto the tyre valve without losing air at the same time. There is an adjustable screw in the gauge valve connector which I turned clockwise by about one turn. This has helped but there is no mention or guidance of this with the item.Read full review

Not Good Design
I check my tyres with Bar not PSI. The bar measurement is the inner scale on the gauge, however the needle is a blade rather than thin wire, so covers the increment you are aiming for. You therefore have to judge that you are equidistant between the one above and one below which means your tyres could, depending how good you are, be a couple of pounds either side of accurate. I also agree with another commentator that the valve attachment is extremely difficult to hold on for an air tight seal, with one hand. Very disappointed with this purchase. Wouldn't buy again. Good quality product and practical.
Much easier to use than the ‘pen’ type tyre pressure gauges as you see the reading on the dial without having to remove the ‘hose’ from the valve. The ‘hose’ swivels round to cater for easy access to valves in different positions on the tyres.
Comment has been made about the two brass screws being in the way of the reading and whilst it would be preferable for these to be in a different position, it isn’t much of a drawback.
Reasonable price.Read full review

Quality gauge at a good price
Well-made, easy to read pressure, with useful hose length. Appears to be accurate when tested against other gauges. Valve connector needs to be pushed on carefully to stop air leakage and false readings..Read full review

Well-made but with a design fault
I've no doubt that this pressure gauge is well made and accurate but it's spoiled by a serious design fault. The lip on the nozzle is so shallow that it's impossible to make an airtight seal onto a tyre valve with one hand - it requires two hands, one to press the gauge nozzle onto the valve and one to hold the valve stem steady, otherwise it results in considerable loss of air. Using two hands then leaves the gauge dial hanging loose and therefore difficult to read. A deeper recess would simply solve this problem. Read full review

Just the job
When I bought my new bike, I didn’t realise my old gauge wouldn’t fit on the valve.( new bike has spoked wheels) This is great and does the job perfectly. The swivel head helps to reach the oddest of angles, and the gauge is easy to read, and with the release valve, spot on pressures are easy to achieve. Read full review

Trustworthy product
This Draper tyre gauge is great with it's flexible hose so much easier to use and read the pressures, it is also very accurate, I have checked it against three of my air pumps and the tyre monitors in our cars, two electric pumps read the same and one manual pump doesn't, and also keep the wheelchair tyres at the right pressure. Thank you very handy to have.Read full review

.
Bought this to replace a digital gauge I had for years which stopped working. Only used it a couple of times so far but seems ok. Bit surprised stated accuracy is +/- 2psi.

Heavy duty and looks reliable
Chunky brass and rubberised construction. Big and clear dial, pressure release button useful as you go from tyre to tyre. Only question is, is it accurate? There's such variation between hand gauges, garage gauges, digital and analogue that you end up not sure which to trust.Read full review

A robust tool
I am told that it is the choice of weekend track day warriors. I have no Idea if it is accurate, but it IS repeatable. its a robust tool that seems to be well made. I had no problem reaching the valve stem although it would be easier if it had a 90° nozzle instead of 45°. It is possible to take a pressure reading and take it away from the wheel to read it. That's quite useful in difficult to access or dark situations. after you read it, press the little button on the side to release the pressure and the needle drops to zero.Read full review
