Water heater control box review.

I had my original one for 8 years, then it went wrong, so needed a replacement.

I was delighted to find a replacement on eBay, exactly the same. It was so easy to change, just unplug and replug in the new water heater control box, being sensible to turn off the electric before doing this of course!

East plug and play replacement for

Plug and play replacement

Having had an economy 7 water heater timer for over thirty years without problems; when mine went wrong I was pleasantly surprised that the very same timer was still available. Exactly the same except for the colouration of the print on the front of the box. The mounting box is exactly the same and so are the front cover screws, so there is no need to tamper with the wiring. All that is needed is to disconnect the 5 wires which are numbered 1-5 and then plug in the new ones in the same order 1-5. the timer has to be set, but the instructions to do so are supplied and it is easy to do. re-screw on the front cover and you are good to go. A really good product, as said above the original unit lasted over thirty years so great value. I would highly recommend this timer.Read full review...

Simple replacement

Just unscrew the old, pull of the tabs and replace with new!! My old one's boost stopped working a few years ago and why I don't know I couldn't find a replacement.
