Naval Aviator Plays Perry Mason.

Very good, military action, TV series. It's the Navy version of Perry Mason. The hero is a combat aviator, legal eagle and his sidekick is a real babe. There's some 1990s feminism thrown in to annoy us men but besides that it's first rate. This series is designed to appeal to men and women alike. It does that pretty well. By the way, I ordered this series for my wife but I watch it too.Read full review...

Jag is a quality show

I used to watch Jag sporadically when it was on television. Always enjoyed it. I missed many episodes because each episode is self-contained and that is one of its strengths. Unlike soap operas that leave you needing more, each Jag episode satisfies in itself. The production values and writing of each story is consistently high. David Elliott is an asset ... Catherine Bell has her high moments but is overrated as an actress. There's nothing that I can recall that stirs one to higher motives on the small screen and it's a credit that this 'fairy floss' show does it so well. TV viewing nowadays offers so much junk in the form of reality shows ... in Australia that means having to watch illiterate 20 year olds trying to lose too much Macca's fat or singing their skulls off trying to get a recording contract ... so that they can afford to buy a shiny new Ford or whatever ... yawn, yawn and double yawn. I wish Aussies could produce shows of the quality of Jag but unfortunately my countrymen are too busy drinking beer or building more pergolas for countless mindless barbecues they have planned.Read full review...

JAG, the complete sixth season

This is the sixth of ten seasons and we plan on having all ten! One of the best shows ever on network television. You can't help love the characters and they nearly become part of the family. Now that we can have the DVD's we can watch our favorite episodes any time we want. Best thing about the show is it portrays our military in a positive light. My Sister and I are very patriotic and when 9/11 happened we would have joined the military again if we could have. Unfortunately, we are too old. We would highly recommend this series to any US patriot or anyone that just enjoys good military drama with some interesting humor, and where right and wrong have definitive boundaries. Sylvia D. Copp & Wendy L. Allen GOD Bless the USA!Read full review...

As good as they get

As I have said in other reviews, if you are interested in JAG the series and you are looking at season #6- then you already are aware of the show and how consistantly good it is. #6 is just more of the same. Though as the series has progressed, there is a more ensemble approach to the show rather than the earlier years of focusing almost entirely os star- David James Elliott. Personally I prefered the original approach, but clearly spreading the wealth amongst the expanded cast of characters is a main reason the series lasted 10 years. Also as the years have passed, Elliotts character spends less time in the cockpit and more in the court, which I kind of miss.

But the same action, excitement, values and honor stay intact from the first to the last episode- guaranteeing this to be one of your favorite series of ALL time.

Sixth Fantastic Season of a Great TV Show-I Wish It Still Was Running-!!!

This was a series I was very sorry to see end. It ran for ten years, and might have run for more, had CBS not made another -Bonehead- decision in favor of useless reality based TV series versus quality dramatic TV series that cost more to make... But are better in the long run. This, the sixth season of J.A.G., continues the pretty linear storyline here in quality fashion. The picture is fantastic, the sound is sharp and clear -CBS Video usually delivers a QUALITY Product-and the episodes are commercial free, as expected. Own the whole series, as I now do... You will NOT be disappointed...berner712/Steve BernerRead full review...

With the USA in war now I also thingk it keeps the Military in a positive light and reminds us of how brave men and women are portecting us everyday.

I will be getting the whole set and it is my nember one favorite of all time. I watch at least one show per day they never get boring.Read full review...

JAG is wicked awesome!!!

I love JAG. The show brings together all of the things I love in a TV show, great stories, military setting, The Law, a cocky protagonist, his hot partner, action, and incredible supporting characters that are just as loveable as the leads.Read full review...

Best season yet

This show reminds me that though our world seems and feels so different, many of the storylines are still the same. Eye candy is a nice addition too :)

Steven Culp - the best!!! Clayton Webb needs his own series TODAY!!!!

I bought Seasons 2 - 9 just for the Steven Culp/Clayton Webb episodes. I like the series overall and feel it is worth watching. A show you can watch with kids or grandkids and not be embarrassed due to sex and overt violence. The occasional shot of "Mac" in a bikini or underwear - but nothing like what is on tv these days!!! Language always good - taught morales and values. So I highly recommend - all seasons.Read full review...
