pleased with the results for the price.
saves the back breaking work of raking but I found the collector box needed emptying quite often,
this may have been down to the amount of moss in my lawn, a bigger box might make it less

more like a kids toy
The one i got was not new.... so i sent it back, not before inspecting it first. I'm so glad i was able to return this poor excuse for a raker/scarrifier. This raker is well made and easy to assemble as you would expect from Black & Decker, it not only rakes the lawn but will pick up the leaves in the autumn on the higher level ,which will save a lot of time .
I had my last Black & Decker raker for over 20yrs and my son is still using it.

Great lawn rake
I have used a similar lawn rake for years until it finally packed up recently. This one is a fantastic replacement. I really gets at the tough grass. Very powerful and effective.

Most of it has been said but if your grass is a bit long instead of trying to push it along it works ok if you pull the machine , it jams on pine cones , so best pick them up first, pine needles seem to mostly get picked up.
If you have loads of over hanging pine trees then this is not for you , keep your wheel barrow close as it will need emptying often , leaves are a doddle , as a scarifier it's fine, shop around as price varies.Read full review...
