Oldie but goodie

This CX70 was bought to replace one we have been using for 5 or 6 years, but has developed a small yellow area in the centre of the image. This is probably due to us not letting it cool properly, when you are forced out of rooms after demos. I wouldn't blame Sony.

The old CX70 has given great service otherwise, and the second-hand one we have just got as a replacement for £100-ish is a total bargain.

A discontinued model now, these projectors are still superb kit. The picture is the crispest, best coloured of its generation that I have seen - and I tried a lot! The powered height adjustment, focus, zoom, and lens cover make it easy to set up. The throw angle is great for small to medium size meeting rooms.

It is quiet enough on the standard brightness, but too noisy on the high power mode, so you just don't use that.

If you want to make a great impression when selling, this is idea. At the current prices, a second-hand one in good condition can be a steal.Read full review...
