Mission Impossible III

I really enjoyed the Mission Impossible series and after the gungho apporach John Woo had at the second installment I was really looking forward to seeing the last installment.

I must to admit I thought it was alot better that the second one, not so much in the action but the story was more well written and the script followed a tight reign that kept me on the edge of my seat.

If action and Tom Crusie are your thing then this is a must for the DVD collection ...try and get the 2 disc special edition as this has tons of interesting fact and behind the scenes stuff.

All in all a really load bang and chase film. Highly recommend 4 out of 5Read full review...

Miami Vice - Very Nice!

Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx play Crockett and Tubbs in the movie update of the popular 80's TV series. Undercover narcotics cops investigating the drugs world in Florida, they are drawn into working for an arms trafficker, the wife of whom Crockett also gets romatically involved with. Cue a dangerous cat and mouse game which can only end with an explosive finale.

This film is far more brutal and grittier than the TV series, but it's emphasis on style and mood are very inkeeping with the original vision of director Michael Mann. Foxx and Farrell make two excellent, believeable leads, but i think this film may be too intelligent or complicated for many casual viewers who might expect something more in the vein of 'Bad Boys'.

I LOVED THIS FILM. I WAS HOOKED FROM THE START. JAMIE FOXX AND COLIN FARRELL ARE FBI AGENTS IN WAGE AGAINST MAJOR DRUG DEALERS. THEY REALLY DO COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER IN THIS FILM. A EXCELLENT STORY LINE. HICHLY RECOMMEND THIS FILM.Read full review...

Designer Suits & Guns

Take two guys. Give them big guns. Give them designer suits. Get them to either zoom about in flashy speedboats or drive fast super high octane cars down neon lit Miami roads at night. Stick some Linkin Park in the background. Make occasional breaks to watch them wander around nightclubs looking mean and moody. Chuck in a couple of scenes with them in open necked shirts bantering with Columbian bad guys. Add a couple of shoot ups and the occasional 'lurve' scene for taste and then viola. Miami Vice.

A good film that is really little more than eye candy and is certainly better on the second watch. Does what you would expect; Guns and Cars and Boats.Read full review...

i bought this film as i love action films and this is a great action film to watch its a classic. its good as it has a lot of action in and is about to undercover police in America cracking down on drugs gangs and violence. if you like films like action films this is a film to watch!Read full review...
