Not entirely sure how to use

New to feeding bamboo im sure the product is great but its to be treated wirh care i needed to know how much i use for smaller vase im terrible with lucky bamboo fond it unlucky especially when they turn yellow assuming distilled water needs some feed and to be place out sunlight i still reckon im careing for these plants wromg?
