Good product ... easy to use.

Easy to set-up. Sensitive to location in some rooms - best performance achieved by placing near windows. Speeds fine for most usage - I don't stream movies or use data-heavy gaming. So far only used with Vodafone SIM in Buckinghamshire (4G seldom 7Mbps) and Liverpool suburb (4G avg. 10-15Mbps). Often find better speeds on 3G. Easy to switch signal type via Huawei website control panel. Still need to try "3" and "EE" SIMs.
No problems, so far.

mobile internet from sim card

This is a mains router which uses a sim card to access internet from mobile network towers. It has 2 antennae, you can substitute appropriate external antenae, as I did. Although it worked, the speed was disappointing at under 2Mbps (and at times unstable) compared to the 9Mbps we had from a router on the same set up. 2Mbps is adequate for emails etc but not enough for streaming. It is described as 4g, but the literature it came with expressed connection to LTE / 3g. Our router that achieved 9Mbps was definitely 4g.
If that speed is all you need, this would be a good choice if you did not have or want , internet from cable, eg if you needed to take internet access away from the home / office.

Easy to set up

It does everything it states it can do, and it does it well. For me it replaced a portable Huawei Hot Spot that I was using at home so the only feature it lacked was the ability to run for several hours on internal battery.Read full review...

Cheap 4G CA Router

I paid £30 including postage, for this price it works as a CA router, one which aggregates carrier frequencies, giving me double the previous download speed, previously I was using a Huawei B593 router. The Alexa speaker function works well for background music etc. Obviously it will not match the speed of a 5G router, but I am in a location where 4G signal is good and 5G is very weak. So for the next year I will be happy to use the B900. The B593 was giving 20-30Mbps download speed, the B900 is giving between 50-70Mbps download speed.Read full review...

Great router for 3g and 4g internet access

Great product, used for internet access and streaming in a flat with no phone line.
Teamed with a smarty unlimited SIM (£20) it is working great.
All features you would expect from most routers.

worth the money and quite easy to configure.

i was able to get netflx on it , but my only gripe is that the speeds are not constant ,and i have t move it about , but its all a learning curve , thinking about getting a decent outside wifi aerial<br>to get more speed and a constant signai.Read full review...

Great little router but not compatible with Google Nest Thermostats.

In most respects this is a great little router. Simple to set up and performs very well.

That said, please be aware that it is NOT compatible with Google Nest thermostats. I had an issue with my Nest thermostat constantly disconnecting from my network. No amount of tweaking of setting would resolve this issue.

If you don't have any Nest products then there's little reason not to buy this router.

Excellent - but SIM needs tweek

Works very well once you adjust the SIM. Phone Sims are thinner than router Sims so you need to put a thin piece of card behind the SIM to fill out the gap, otherwise you'll have trouble with "invalid SIM" and other messages that stop you connecting to your network.
In a countryside setting with poor reception I managed speeds of 20+gb at times. Tried external arial and the rabbit ears but they made it worse.

Beats being stuck in a BB contract!!!

I have great/full signal for all networks, so it’s a no brainer this beats conventional BB hands down. I get better speeds than people I know paying for expensive super fast BB. Unlimited wifi for £18/month without a contract. What’s not to like, streams 4K films no buffering, ‘work from home, & smart home devices perfectly. If you have a good signal get one & ditch the conventional ’old fashioned’ broadband. If you live in a poor reception area, check reception for other networks & you may find a better one to use, but if all networks have poor reception this won’t be for you, but keep checking network reception & you may get lucky soon.Read full review...
