A reliable work shoe

This is a replacement pair which I use mainly for gardening, previous pair lasted 10 years. From first use these shoes are comfortable, there is no breaking in period required therefore your heals are not attacked.
I am always amazed how well they recover with a good clean and polish after a tough day in a wet garden.

Tank-like, lasting quality

Typical Doc Marten quality, built like a tank and requiring some breaking in but once through that painful bit it's almost like wearing slippers. I wear them for work which is admittedly not constant walking but does involve being on my feet a lot over 12-hour work days; they remain comfortable for all that time and my last pair lasted me three years, only requiring replacement when the soles wore smooth. Could have resoled them but decided to go new. In all likelihood I'll replace these with another pair when the time comes.Read full review...
