One of Santana's best albums
Welcome is one of my favorite Santana albums and one of the great albums of the 1970s. Abraxas is his most famous, and rightly so. But this is a remarkably rich jazz/fusion album with great personnel (including the special appearances by greats Alice Coltrane, John McLaughlin, Flora Purim, and Joe Farrell). I have eagerly awaited its release in SACD. This is a particularly handsome edition, with poster and supporting booklet.Read full review

Pricey, but worth every penny for fans of Santana's more spiritual times.
This is a real head trip from the spiritual days of Carlos and band. The sound and quad mix are superb. I hope more of these albums find their way into this release format.

Nostalgic Quadraphonic Masterpiece.
On of Santana’s very best in Quadraphonic. I have the vinyl SQ version from the early 70’s and this is definitely a step up in audio quality and surround mastering. Highly recommended!!
