Memory needed and obtained for upgrading a computer.

I really think e bay is the place to visit for memory upgrades at an economical price. I like to tinker with computers and I usually can find a product to upgrade a computer, PentiumIII, PentiumIV or AMD systems. Unfortunatly people have heard about my talent, family especially have told friends who are under the impression I like fixing their computers so saving them money rather than a comercial company for cost of parts but not my labour. One of the friends of my familly found that on her second hand AMD computer she could not play games. On investigating I found the reason she only had 256 MB PC1600 DDR RAM in her system and the game required 512 memory I told her that I did not think that I would be able to get a matching strip of memory for her computer and advised her to get a higher more modern computer if she wanted to play the latest games. She priced the computer and decided that she could not afford one but badgered me into upgrading her computer, I had by canniblising other computers been able to put a new CD rewriter in her computer replacing the CD-Rom that was originly there. On reading through the offers on e bay I noticed the Samsung 256 MB PC1600 DDR RAM which is what she has in her computer I contacted the seller bid for it and was successful. I have put it in her computer and she now can play the game she wants to play. A triumph all round for the seller, the buyer me, and finally the familly friend who can play the game "til her hearts content".Read full review...
