Quality product

At last a good sized lightweight rotary line that's high enough for me after years of crouching under a low one - I'm 5'6".
My first ever rotary line was a Hill's & it's probably still going strong in the garden of my old house, this one is a lighter construction but sturdy enough & easy to use. Very happy with it.Read full review...

Disappointing

This item is described as ultra heavy duty - heavy duty maybe, not ultra. The "easy to operate hoist system" is anything but - it is hard to put up and the plastic locking fitting looks as if it wouldn't last long. It was too high for me to reach the outer lines, even when placed in my existing socket hole, which is much deeper than the short cheap piece of plastic greenhouse piping which passes for a socket. The packaging could have been better too - no proper box, just some bubble wrap and poor quality corrugated cardboard, with a flimsy black polythene outer wrap which had holes in it and had torn vertically for most of its length, though the line was not damaged on arrival. It was not good value for the money. On the plus side there was no problem with returning it and having paid by PayPal I hope to get the return carriage paid for. I have really pushed the boat out now and gone for a Hills Hoist (my old one was a Hills), which is definitely ultra heavy duty!Read full review...

Disappointed!

The clip was damaged as said, but the main pole is also bent and the line has been restrung wrongly. Very disappointed this is not including the fact that they could not deliver to our click and collect store due to it being too large. Read full review...

Nearly as good as the old one

I'm replacing the same Hill's dryer bought more than 15 years ago. The new model uses the same design and components apart from updated plastis trimmimgs. Very pleased with purchase; too many flimsy types out there for similar or more money.Read full review...
