Inexpensive but imperfect replacement cap

Evidently, this is an aftermarket product intended to mate with a genuine Osterizer lid. The "price is right," but the quality is not: the retention pegs on either side of the replacement filler cap are just a bit high, which prevents engagement with the lid. Fortunately, it's quite easy to file down the pegs, allowing them to engage, and thus solve the problem. In other words, don't throw the replacement filler cap away if it doesn't fit right, just be prepared for this "do it yourself" modification.Read full review
