I broke a south lead connection on a cheap MIM neck pickup and used it as a reason to invest in a set of these. Best money I ever spent on pickups.
I knew they would sound better but there's just so much more there than I was expecting.
I'm running straight into an original Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 (American made. Not a reissue).
I'm thinking about adding an analog delay but even without that - this sounds awesome just as it is.

Horrible pickups.

These pickups sound horrible to me.
They do fatten up the sound but they totally lack sustain and character.
The stock standard american pickups are far better.
But of course this is a matter of taste and the service was very good.Read full review
