Prevented a muddy lens!
This lens hood is well made, good value for money and even saved my lens from getting muddy. My tripod fell over with my camera on it and onto hard mud, lens hood dug into ground slightly but saved my lens from getting muddy optics when it fell. Good thing I had a lens hood on, this is why I always use a lens hood not only for preventing sun flare but for protection. Read full review...
