Well worth it
This is a lovely clear phono stage which worked very well with my Denon DL110 cartridge on MM setting into a solid state power amp. When I switched to a 10 wpc valve amplifier output was too low so it was switched to the MC setting which made an improvement, better timbre, space and depth than through the MM/solid state combination. These days I’m more interested in listening to music than hi fi and this phono stage with valve buffer suits me just fineRead full review...

Pleasant neutral sound that is warmer than the solid state pre-amp that it replaced. No problems with a high output MC cartridge but there is hum using a low output MC cartridge.The potentiometer switch fails to turn the unit off but I unplug it after use.Read full review...
