Very Uncomfortable to Wear - Not Worth the Cost
Bought a pair for my plantar fasciitus, very painful to wear. The built in silicon heal cushion was pressing on the inflamed part of the fascii and made them unwearable however much I tried re-positioning them. The solution was to remove the silicon heal cushion (it is only glued in place). Now the sock acts as any support sock would. Finally, the real solution is not to bother with them. For under £5 I found adjustable support socks which do a far better job. This and orthotic arch supports with built-in silicon heal cushions - the difference is that the built in ones are flush with the support and not sticking out as they are in the sock.
