Behringer rocks!

This Behringer Ultra Tremolo is a great sounding effects pedal and a good value. It can
be shaped with the rate, depth, and wave knobs which give it a wide variety of sounds.
A nice warm tone is great when combined with all my other pedals. Definitely a must
in an effects chain! A couple minor complaints are the power supply input is located
on the right side of the pedal. This created a daisy chain length issue which I remedied
by running its own power supply. Lastly is its plastic body which should not be a problem
if you are not rough with your effects. It seems to be built well so hopefully no durability
issues will arise. I am quite happy with this pedal and recommend the Behringer line to all
musicians on a budget or just want a great sounding pedal.

No instructions, diagrams - definitely not a simple project! Did not work!

Unless you are very familiar with building circuit boards, this is not a simple project. There are much better DIY pedals available, that come WITH INSTRUCTIONS! This kit was missing a part & we had to order it separately (hoping it is the correct piece). This pedal did not work & there is no way to troubleshoot it, without instructions. Save yourself the disappointment & don't buy this pedal!Read full review

Worth the money

Good OverDrive pedal. However you'll need some basic knowledge of electronics so as to get everything right. It's not in the description, but you need the center negative DC supply. Also (this wasn't in the instruction), the -V needs to be connected to GND in order for the circuit to work. But I kind of liked that the making of this pedal involved some thinking for me.
And the "OverDirve" label isn't good as well.))
Still it's a good pedal for DIY practice.

Don't Waste Your Money

First of all, these come with no instructions. That alone should make you avoid this product.

Components were substandard. Footswitch felt cheap. Jacks were manufactured poorly. Knobs were missing setscrews.

If you need an inexpensive overdrive pedal there are some nice ones available for under $40. Save yourself the frustration of this useless kit.

Don't Buy !

see all the bad comment below , all are truth :

1. not enough space to fit the PCB inside the box
2. very hard soldering a transistor socket on the PCB as the transistor mounting holes are just too close together
3. No clear instructions included

Just like the Boss

Sounds just like the Boss DS-1s! The only thing I don't care for is the switch is not the greatest. You really need to make sure it is on or off. Doesn't have that satisfying SOLID click but a quick swap and it will be GREAT!!Read full review

Very hard to build

It is almost impossible to build without a wiring diagram.

Sweet!

What a nice surprise from Behringer. I love this pedal. It gets the classic tremolo pedal without spending the big buck to get it. I also like th straight thru signal to the amp. You will love it!
