Well worth the price!! No more dropping out! Easiest, just plug into the usb port on your laptop and put it in the window for great performance
I like to travel in timeshares and campgrounds! The wireless internet excess can be painfully slow! For example I can only get a connection if I place a chair by the bedroom window upstairs.. I bought a $22 3 ft cord usb antenna and it improved the signal into the whole cabin, but it would flicker on and off every time someone drove by or some other reason. Every time it disconnects and reconnects its very annoying! I thought I would try this one this year! I stay 2 weeks so $35 is not much to spend if it works! Well its been great! I can now sit on the bed and have it in the window with no interruptions. I can also sit downstairs with the antenna on the fireplace mantel and get uninterrupted reception! So laptop alone can only work in one spot in the cabin.. laptop with usb antenna works with quiet a few interruptions..Laptop with this antenna works in every room upstairs and downstairs without interruption.. I know it says directional but it didn't seam to make a difference which way I faced it. Maybe they have several transmitters! Or, its not that directional. I don't know.. However I'm very happy with my purchase..Well worth the price!Read full review

Only works in 2 gHz Band
The "dual band" antenna essentially only works in the 2 gHz band; The 5 gHz band didn't work. The software they give you doesn't allow you to install ONLY the driver; their mess of control software gets downloaded and is hard to remove. They recommend not downloading it. 2 gHz band works as well as the same antenna with only 2 gHz capability. Don't bother buy this "dual band" antenna; get the 2 gHz only as it costs less and works the same.Read full review

Bear extended wifi outdoor antenna
I'm actually writing this review as I am camping at Harbor RV in Fort Bragg, CA. I was so tired of poor wifi at campsites and never had an outdoor antenna before. I rigged a temporary fiberglass pole made with PVC garden pipes. It was elevated about 4 feet above my class B RV. I was able to watch Netflix and surf the web fairly easily. It did started buffering during the peak times but I didn't mind. Was able to finish watching The Queen's Gambit. So far I am pretty happy with it. Read full review
