What's going on Audiolab?

I immediately noticed there was something not 'right' with this player right from the very first day.
I noticed some pops and clicks (with brand-new CDs). Then after 2+ months of use, the player won't accept CDs at all after they are inserted ('No Disc' reads the screen).

Well, after a long search of reviews by other owners of this item, I noticed that many of the symptoms I'm experiencing are exactly the same as those of other owners. 1) a player that does not play the CD entirely (if the CD is more than 60-70 minutes long - as many are - the player stops and does not play, 2) when the player starts the beginning of the track is cut by a few seconds (the same happens when you skip to the next track)...this is unacceptable! 3) And of course, the fact that the player stops working after 2 months of slight use, and does not play/recognize the inserted CDs is just mind-blowing for a device that costs almost US$900 !! (my US$45 Sony CD/DVD player that I bought 10 years ago is still going!), 4) on top of all these 'glitches' there are, of course, intermittent pops and clicks.
