Worthwhile purchase

I use this between my saw table, planer (at a pinch) and a low noise commercial vacuum cleaner.
It intercepts heavier chips extremely well and sawdust reasonably. Massively extends the life of paper bags in the vacuum. It is moderately noisy - adding a lot of wind noise to the cleaner which is an extra low noise model. However, suction holds up well.
This is an antistatic plastic but that feature is a waste of time unless you also use antistatic hoses and have a way for the static charge to dissipate which I do not.
Lastly, these are very "tall" - not very stable or strongly attached to the lid of whatever container. I use a plastic drum with a customised lid that allows the cone to sit 4" down into the collecting drum. It looses a little capacity but is a stronger assembly and less prone to being pulled over by the hoses.Read full review...

Great product

Does what it is supposed to do very well. Good quality. Comes with i/o adaptors. You may require vacuum pressure relief valve for your own bucket or barrel container. Contact supplier at time of purchase. They sell them. This works very well and is essential to stop barrel imploding with any obstruction to vacuum pipe.
