WoW...what a quality optic this is...
I have been into photography since 7 yrs of age. My dad was a keen amateur too.
My 1st camera was an old tin box camera called..."The Conway" which my dear old aunty May gave to me.
It took 120 roll film.
I took pics at my sister's wedding with it.
Apart from being lopsided...they are still good to this day.
Then I had a Polaroid type 87 instant monochrome camera. Fun but expensive to run...especially on 50p pocket money a week.
I did all my training on REAL photographic media.
Once.. we took pics at a friend's wedding...we had 3 x 36 exp rolls...no preview or mass shutter release in the comfort of knowing you'd be bound to get a few ok shots...
Oh no...
Every shot needed planning and one vital skill...to mentally picture the result based upon experience...technical knowledge and skill of the medium in use.
Digital is great...but no skill needed anymore. POINT AND SHOOT...My 3 yr old grandson taķes the odd great pic... out of the 400 frames his little camera records.
Great for me though...im not in a good health state these days. So unlimited frames helps a lot.
I have used many kinds of filters in 50 yrs. Hoya were always spot on. Always aimed for multi coated both sides and was impressed by how much light transmission was allowed with these coatings.
I have it in my specs now too...
Well i opened this JJC mc filter and it was mint. No dust...no hairs...sterile.
I actually thought that the company had cocked up.
I could not see the glass element when held between my finger tips...
It transmitted soooo much light that it didnt reflect.
I had to touch this empty frame to check if there was a glass filter there.
AMAZING QUALITY.Read full review
