Great tester!

I have used it on a number of loads of wood and have used it to start "organizing" the wood to make sure that the wetter wood gets placed where it will dry a little before needed. This was truly an excellent investment. I would recommend this to anyone that burns wood as primary or secondary heating for their house, especially if they purchase their wood from someone else and do not cut and split it themselves.Read full review...

I think it is well designed, well-made, user-friendly, all things considered excellent. Wish I had bought one years ago. It really helps me keep up with which batch of firewood is appropriately seasoned. Just remember you cannot test the end of the log and less it was just cut that day.
