Good for it's size

Great little drill/driver this, not quite as big and powerful as my last cordless but it fills the roll nicely and can get into places my old one couldn't. For it's size it still packs enough torque to handle larger drill bits and the battery is well up to task in delivering enough power for a good amount of time, so all in all well worth the money.Read full review...

Early days but so far impressive

Bought after some research. It's to replace a twenty year old unbranded drill I now realise had been past its best for some time. The Von Haus is lighter yet more powerful. Variable torque settings and two-speed operation, plus hammer action. (If you are buying a 'budget' drill and want hammer action just check as not all do this.) The light at the front is an excellent idea and it's only on when you press the trigger. Battery life seems good. From what I've read this is perhaps the best drill for the price before you step up into the Bosch or Makita level brands. Has had limited use so far but...so far so good. Lightweight yet sturdy, strong battery life.

I have used a few VonHaus things, and not needed the 2-year warantee. They are sturdy, and this drill appears to be no exception! I have completed a number of drilling and screwing jobs around the house and the battery is still full (you can check the level by pushing a button). I am still getting used to the jack, but besides that the drill is easy to use.
