Superb Value! Zips could still be better.

£100 for a pair of gig bags sounds painful, but there's a lot of smart sense in these.
The bags are extremely thick and durable. After nine years of using 310 versions, I found from experience the speakers stay in showroom condition whilst sealed inside.
You then recover your outlay when you finally sell at a better price that the tatty stuff.

They look excellent and keep the kit looking very professional.
The bag is constructed so that you operate the unit permanently inside with all the user components accessible through the portals and flaps. They are extremely robust and resist the knocks and bumps that lead to a bad case of "roadie rash" all over your monitor.

AUDIO IMPROVEMENT
In order to make powerful speakers light enough to be as portable as they have become, something has to go. The density of the shell is one of the biggest compromises. What I have found is that wrapping speakers in the bags deadens a lot of the hollow resonance of the poly-carb shell that ruins the bass. It's not the ideal solution but it makes a significant difference and in the case of these new 910's raise the sound quality to outstanding when compared to other compact portables.

I note the handling clip on one of the zips came away first night. I took another look back at my old 310 covers which still clean up very well - except for the zips. Despite the split seams and spoiled tracks they still close and most important, they still offer 100% protection to the monitor inside. This is the only area RCF need to improve upon. Other than that, for me this is an essential and underrated part of monitor ownership.
