I like that this Flash gun can be triggered by the flash already on the camera - setting the unit
elsewhere in the room for more coverage!

Also the high speed sync of this flash gun.- when using high shutter speeds.
Also the clear operation display at rear of the unit.

A well made, reliable, powerful, instantly useable flash gun for Sony users

I bought the flshgun as a replacement for a Jessops flash which had basically come apart soon after buying it.

The Sony's construction is first class. The materials seem solid and well put together. The plastics are pleasingly groan and creak free, and everything fits well.

The flash is quite heavily featured with both e-ttl and manual setting for use either on or off shoe.

Sony's wireless flash feature is able to control the flash, and others working with it, off camera and still fully ttl.

It also features HS flash mode, which syncs with shutter speeds as low as 1/8000s which is as fast as my A700 goes.

Ideal for the Sony user

Does exactly what it says on the box.
Easy to set to remote/wireless connectivity.
Recharges very quickly certainly quick enough for my meager needs.
Good range of uses and very easy to understand.
If you are a novice and have a compatible Sony camera the Auto setting is ideal.
I am glad I went for the slightly more powerful unit as I find it better to have the opportunity of having too much available light than insufficient light.
I would recommend any Sony user to buy this unit especially if you can get a good deal on EBAYRead full review...
