Must have for large caliber snubbies

Put this on my 3” S&W 629 Deluxe. HUUUUGE difference from the OEM rosewood grips. Makes the recoil much more manageable and doesn’t “bite” the web of your hand when you fire. The backstrap of the frame, that your hand is in contact with, is covered in rubber. The rubber is also just right; not too soft and not too hard. So, it allows for good grip and tactile feel, while not being too “mushy”. This is a MUST for the 629 if you plan to actually fire it for sustained periods as it really makes a night & day difference in hand comfort. A+!Read full review

Nice, but limited purpose grips.

I bought these for a 4" barreled S&W .44 magnum for deer hunting. They are excellent for recoil absorbtion, hand filling. The rubber material is the right density for attenuating heavy recoil. The only negative would be if you want to use them on a carry pistol that you are trying to conceal. Too thick for that purpose.Read full review

Pachmayr Diamond S&W N Frame

These grips are what I was looking for. Almost the exact shape as the wood finger groove grips that came with the gun except with out the bite from the wood grips. Grips are very comfortable and control recoil on my 3” M629.Read full review

They work very well for me

Most importantly, the K and also the N frame grips are both an excellent fit for my hand. There's no slippage and they absorb recoil. They mount securely and the attachment screw is positioned so it doesn't affect revolvers with lighter mainspring tension used in target shooting. The price is reasonable too.Read full review

Almost perfect

I think this is one of the better products at PACK, Meyer has come up with lately. The only thing I do not like is that I have to remove the centering pin in the frame of the grip. Allowance should’ve been paid so that that would fit when it goes on firearm. Otherwise I would’ve given the grip five stars. Read full review
