Pickups sound fantastic, super easy to install!
Epi Classic Pro Alnico pickups sound fantastic! Big upgrade from the older alnico Epi SG pickups which were a bit muddy, particularly in the neck position. Most importantly, these were super easy to install! No soldering. They coil split as well. These are A5 magnets which sound a bit edgier than the A2 magnets in the Epi Probuckers. I have those in an Epi Les Paul. Both are great for what they do - Probuckers are superb in the LP and these A5 Classic Pros are excellent for an SG, imo.Read full review...

Perfect upgrade
Installation was fast. Only needed to solder the ground wire. Fit well in old Ibanez LP copy from the seventies. Good quality components.Single and double coil pickup options give many sounds.

New Probuckers
Bought from 2 different suppliers.. Both had a rapid delivery (for China). Compared Both., Appear identical. My only complaint would be that the input jack "could be a couple inches longer for more wiggle room.
One of these is going into my Les Paul studio re-build.. The other into a kit Les Paul splated Maple to build.

This pickup make my Epip SG Goth sound like Gibson SG
Coil-Split work great make this High Output pickup sound nice and clean but it make volume a bit lower like other coil-split guitar
