2013 Explorer Limited V6
My prior battery post cracked and leaked battery acid onto the post and completely corroded the entire circuit breaker battery terminal. After looking at it, I was surprised it was even starting the car. The metal connector over the battery post was almost completely burnt up and only about half remained. First Ford I’ve ever owned and had never seen this type of circuit breaker contraption over the positive battery terminal before. Seems a bit much. Anyhow after researching it I found several posts saying that the dealership will only replace the entire battery cable harness for $350 on up! My cables looked fine, so I found this battery terminal circuit breaker replacement and thought it was well worth replacing myself. There are a couple of bolts to unscrew and you have to push/pry the circuit breaker off of the cable connections. Seems harder to do than it should be, but I was being fairly cautious. It really only takes about 10 minutes to swap out, even faster if you have done it before. Once I was all connected the car started right up. It’s been several weeks now and no issues. I recommend this part.Read full review

Exact part needed and no longer available form Ford RATE AND REVIEW OEM NEW 2011-2019 Ford Lincoln Taurus MKS Battery Cable Terminal End Da8Z14526A
This part was exactly what I needed. As soon as I disconnected all the terminals, I was able to have everything connected and ready in about 10 minutes. Disconnecting the fuse terminal was the most difficult. Part quality was excellent.Read full review
Great replacement part looks original and good quality
This product is the oem replacement for my 2014 Ford Taurus positive battery terminal connection, with cleaning the old rust and removing the old connector, it took around 30 minutes to replace, if yours is clean then it might take you 15 minutes, A good tip is better to remove the battery from the car to get better space when replacing this connection. its exact match in shape and quality of material. ( you will need one 10mm nut from the old connector), i give this product 5 star rating.Read full review

OEM 2015 Taurus exact fit
This is a Motorcraft product #1. This fit my 2015 Ford Taurus SEL, and it was an exact replacement, it fit perfectly. It was New In Box (NIB) and was exactly what I needed. Mine had corroded the lower "ring" about a year ago, and I wanted to fix it before I had any real issues. Of course looking for a battery terminal end didn't work, its a circuit breaker. Who Knew?? AKA positive battery terminal - great part that yielded huge savings.
This product should also be labeled "Positive Battery Terminal" as it was very difficult to find when searching via Google or any other site. I tripped across the part and part number in a Ford user forum. The dealer wanted to replace the entire harness at a part cost of $315 plus labor cost of $300. The terminal connector was corroded but the harness itself was fine. The harness is connected to the "battery terminal" via plugs and connectors so the work took 15 minutes to change the part.Read full review

Great replacement
I had a 2017 Flex and this part was totally corroded,
This is the part you need to repair it correctly.
Just be sure to spray anti corrosion spray on the positive terminal or it will be replaced again.
This was a poor design by ford. Read full review

Battery for my Ford Flex 2013
Battery could not get and keep connection. Dealer wanted to sell me the whole harness. Which was over $300. All I needed was this one piece and very easy to install.
Flex runs great

Excellent replacement piece
Excellent replacement piece for my 2015 Lincoln MKS. easy installation, and a one person job. I suggest using a pair of channel locks, that way it’s easier to remove the bolts. Saves money over going to a dealerRead full review
