Not easy to wire up.

Although this is a very low cost item you need to have good soldering skills. The main problem is the LED wiring which soldered across the terminals via a current limiting resistor and if you try to solder any wires from what ever you need the 12v supply you will have difficulties. The other problem was the plug was supplied wit a F3A fuse and not %a as the seller describes, The F means that it is a fast blow fuse and if your device is using anything above that it will blow as it did with mine. Although the seller send me two by mistake the second one also has a F3A fuse. I offered to send the second back but they told me to keep it. Perhaps the seller buys this item without checking because he trusts his supplier and I hope that they improve way it is supposed to be wired is improved in the near future.Read full review

No goog for tyre compressors

Bought this for a tyre compressor but it came with a 3A fuse fitted which wasn't enough. Changed it for a 10A one, but after pumping the tyre the plug was so hot it started to melt!
Cigarette fittings are fused to 15A on the car, so the plug should be able to handle this really 😕Read full review
