Does a good job if used properly

I've got a few of these kits and they work fine as long as you follow a few golden rules, as you only have one chance to get it right! Don't assume the drill will follow exactly the stripped hole, especially in aluminium. Get someone to watch as you drill to make sure you are dead perpendicular to the job, unless you're using a pillar drill. Tap carefully, and blow out all swarf, Screw in insert without pushing, allow the thread to screw itself in. Snap off tang with a swift knock, otherwise it might just bend.
