Good sound quality, audio still lags behind video
Better than a lot of bluetooth receivers, I've tried a few inbuilt ones and this is a big upgrade. Good sound quality, no different from wired sound. There is still a lag between video and audio though and the cable is quite short so if you want it for films you might need to buy a longer cable to make sure there are no obstructions between it and your device. Good Bluetooth
Not sure that this kit actually has aptx capability, but it provides great sound from my iPad, iPhone and MacBook much better then the previous device I had. Sound is as good to my ear has when hardwired via headphone/phono connection to aux input on my amp. It’s revitalised my old Technics tuner/amp. Connection is very stable and quickly connects to 1 of 2 paired devices. Connection stable and OK even when transmitting device in is next room. Bluetooth connection is a little aggressive in that it will connect to my phone even when my phone is paired with my Bose in next room. Not a real problem as I keep this unit switched off until I want to use it.
