Dreadful

I think the worst thing I have ever bought online. Flimsy does not do justice to how bad they are. Wire so thin it had no tension or support to the cover which is about as thick as cling film but a tenth the strength. Tried one of the 4 which didn't last overnight, found the cover at one end of the garden and the bent wires left approximately where they were stuck in the ground. Don't think I will bother to take the other 3 out of the wrapper as they take longer to set up than they last! One star for quick delivery.Read full review

great lightweight shelter when there is no wind!

Wind can cause the metal frame to become undone if directly stuck in soil as per their photograph.

The metal loops, holding up the plastic tunnel, easily become un-lodged on one side, when even in just a moderate wind. These metal parts, when dis-lodged, slip through their sleeve part way, and the edge or point then punctures through their sleeve. The rip can be long enough to render the use of the sleeve worthless. Solution: Needs strong fixing method of frame to say a wooden post to ensure security in event of a windy times. This will make the location and ease of moverability of the tunnels less flexible. Read full review

Poor materials which didn't last their first night out

Very flimsy wires and very very thin plastic. Has ripped with the first, fairly gentle, wind after putting them up.

Terrible

Barely strong enough to hold itself up, plastic is thinner than a sandwich bag and the tubes for the wire supports are half there and half not due to not being formed properly, the ends are open which is different to picture 1 so wind rips straight through and pulls wires up that are only in the ground 2 inches! Unusable and went in the bin after on dayRead full review

Easy to install and use

I found these plant protectors easy to use and install and value for money.

I wanted something for my carrots but they could be used for other plants, particularly newly planted vegetables.

Rubbish

If you bought these same ones last year you'll be sorely disappointed with them now. The wire is not pre shaped and is made from florist wire now. The plastic cover is so thin it won't last month.

A good buy

Husband was very happy with this cloche, it got a bit flattened in the snow, but has popped up ok again.

Exactly what you expect for a £5 cloche. Add a couple of stones and got the greens a good head start. Stored ready for next year so top notch to be fa

Too lightweight

It needs a frame and stronger metal hoops. It would be a very sheltered garden that could use this cloche as supplied and mine isn't.
