This is 100% African Black Soap,my skin is sensative so after about 4 dats of use around my moth and nose my skin began to prep and burn m which I expected from previous use years ago .I decided to alternate the soap with my cleanser for sensative skin until my skin gets used to it.I follow up with 100% African Shea Butter (also purchased from this company)A little goes a long way ,I cut a piece off and saran wrapped the rest ,I store it in a soap dish .My purpose of buying this soap is to improve my discoloration and acne scars ,it's too early to expect results ,it's will leave another review in a few weeks if I notice improvement....Read full review

Drying, glycerin soap
I like that it's made with natural ingredients. It strips too much oil from your face though. I make sure to use a home made coconut oil scrub on my face afterwards otherwise it would be too harsh and drying. Haven't noticed any claimed reduction in hyper pigmentation or acne - because I'm pregnant and wanted to find something natural to treat the hormonal break outs. I'd buy the soap if you just want to try something really cleansing and natural; otherwise keep your money.Read full review

Gentle and Effective on Troubled Skin
Previously Used: Dudu Osun black soap, but this became too harsh and drying for me over time. It's a good soap, but mainly for those with seriously oily/acne problems.
Skin Problem: Since moving to the East Coast my skin just suddenly become unbalanced, spot-prone, irritated and dull - I didn't know why, and was trying also everything I could find, you name it, I have tried it. This just made things worse.
My Views on This Soap: I purchased just 2oz because I wasn't sure it would be any different from the Dudu Osun, but it is VERY different. I immediately noticed how gentle it was, the lather produced was soft and not drying at all, but it still cleaned my skin squeeky clean. Long story short, I am purchasing a lot more of this soap because its great, and I also use it all over my body now!
Note: Please note that I moisturize very well after using Aloe Vera gel, 1 drop vegetable glycerine and, 2-3 drops of jojoba oil - my skin now glows again!Read full review

Good Quality Black Soap
I wish I would of bought more. The size of the soap is smaller than expected. But they did give me one extra one in my order because of that reason. Good soap but I wish I had bought more!
I bought the 2oz bars they were a smaller then I expected, if you plan on using this soap for you face and body buy bigger quantities. On the first wash I used about 1/4 of the soap bar. Other then that the soap is really nice,it left my skin smooth soft. I also decided to put some aloe vera on after to make sure it wouldn't dry out my skin. Real African black soap
I have had that salon type black soao that is dyed black and looks like a regular soap bar, that is not real african black soap! This is! I didn't realise that you only need a small piece not the whole bar, a little goes a long way unless you are using for your body then this size would be perfect but I use it mainly for my face. It clears up fine lines, acne anything you can think of! My skin is so soft I might start using it for my body as well. I will be ordering more!Read full review
