After watching a demo on U Tube for protecting a Soft Top on a Convertible I decided to buy a tin for mine. Brilliant product, easy to use with a paint brush, made the top look cleaner and certainly did the job. Bonus is theres probably enough for 3 coats.Read full review

Honestly can't rate Fabsil highly enough. Very easy to apply, use a garden sprayer and a sponge, do it on a warm day with minimal breeze. used about 1L on a large 4 man tent, 2 coats to be safe, plenty left for the rest of the tent collection!Read full review

Fabsil is great. Used it previously on my Porsche soft top, the hardest part was getting the roof clean in the first place before sealing it with Fabsil. This time I used it on our large patio umbrella. Again the hardest part was cleaning it, the Fabsil went on no problem. I was able to give it two coats. Read full review

A very inexpensive solution for weather proofing convertible roofs
I was a bit dubious about whether this product would actually work but it has worked wonders for my fabric convertible roof during the winter months. Unprecidented wet weather conditions resulted in constant wet carperts and damp smells inside my car. If left unattended this could lead to mold and a damaged car interior. Water leaks have ceased since applying this fantastic weather proofing product to my convertible roof. I highly recommend this product and I have recommended the product to others.Read full review

I bought this to re-proof the soft-top on my Triumph Stag.
After cleaning the roof thoroughly, it was easy and quick to apply with a paint brush and a resulted in a nice even appearance.

Does what it says on the tin
Fabsil is the best for reproofing camping gear and the Tent the tin is way better than a spray can, I find it best to pour into one of the pressure spray bottles got from Wilko and a soft brush to help spread it, dries on a reasonable day in a couple of hours ..... I have used it on nylon overtrousers too ..... this goes a lot further than the spray cans ...it gives way better coverage a little over half this can covered our 5 person tunnel tent very well Read full review

I have used fabsil for a number of years . I last purchased an aerosol to treat a walking jacket but proofing a backpack after washing I decided to apply by brush and the extra liquid can be stored to treat an umbrella when needed.
