Works perfectly With Kindle Fire 1st gen

Dispite the title, this cable works with kindle fire 1st gen. I successfully unbricked an old kindle fire(Just for fun really), that I thought was unfixable due to the whole /system partition getting wiped. So no shell access, etc.

Steps to recover from a brick with factory cable:
1. Plug in fastboot cable while the tablet is off.
2. It should automatically boot up. Your computer should detect it. If not, search up "Amazon Kindle Fire Driver", and click on the first result. If it still doesn't work, try a different USB port of computer.
3. Download twrp blaze. do "fastboot -i 0x1949 flash recovery twrpfilename(dot)img"
4. Then, do "fastboot -i 0x1949 oem idme bootmode 5001"
5. DO NOT issue the reboot command here. Instead, hold the power button on the kindle fire until the screen shuts off, then change the factory cable to a regular one. It will automatically boot up again, and you should see it booting to twrp. The rest is then a lot easier. It also helps to install FireFireFire, as that sometimes fixes some problems.Read full review
