The backing pad does not work well.

The polishing pads work very well. The backing pad begin to come apart almost right away. Polishing pads became dangerous projectiles as they flew off of the backing pad. Glued the Velcro back onto the backing pad and not only did it not last long, the padding separated from the rubber mount making it totally unusable. I finished the job using a 3 inch backing pad on my drill and it worked well with none of the pads flying off.Read full review
