I needed to replace a defective drive which was rarely used so didn't want to spend a lot. At sub £16 and given the brand I chose this drive for the job. Plugged in and worked straight away but oh so noisy! I am glad I don't need to listen to it very often. If you run one a lot you may find it a major distraction.
