Excellent tyre pressure monitoring
My car has factory fitted tyre pressure monitors but my caravan does not. Because I wanted a way of quickly and easily checking the caravan tyre pressures without having to use a pressure gauge I looked around for a better solution. I found that solution in these valve caps. I needed caps set to 46psi and as soon as I fitted them the indicator on the top showed green. I now only have to look at the valve caps to see if the caravan tyre pressures are correct. If the pressure drops the indicators will show a yellow warning and if the pressure drops too low it will show red. Once the tyre pressure is corrected the valve indicator will return to green. No good for the front wheels
They are a good idea, but they are just too fragile. One clip of the kerb and down goes your tyre. I hope you carry a pump with you, if you buy any. I tried 3 of these before I gave up and went back to good old dust caps and the last 2 times I know I didn't hit any kerbs?? The body is metal, good, but the top is plastic, bad. Not sure how this can be overcome tho. Good in theory, but not so good in practice, sorry. Read full review

Works wonders no getting stuck with a puncture.
Been using this product since it was first launched many years ago by the company that makes it in Exeter. It’s been absolutely brilliant it keeps the tyres running cooler when if like me you tour abroad quite a lot and there is never any hassle if you get a normal puncture like a nail or a screw in the tyre. You just remove the offending item and within seconds the liquid plugs the hole so no more puncture. This stuff is great for motorcycles as it’s warranted as it’s the performance liquid and you can ride the bike to the end of the tyres life without having to worry about it. I’ve had punctures and then done another 8000 miles of riding before changing the tyres like normal due to them being worn out. In all the years of using it I have never been stuck anywhere be it close to home or up some mountain road in Greece I can’t fault it in any way shape or form.Read full review

Easy to fit and easy to display if you need more air
These tyre pressure monitors are simple to use. They may not tell you what the actual tyre pressure is - but they will let you know if you need more air in the tyre. Just pump your tyre pressure up to the correct pressure first, then screw these onto the air valve in place of your original valve caps. The monitor then turns green (it may take a few seconds) and then whenever the pressure falls below your correct pressure the valve cap turns either Amber or Red depending on the severity of pressure loss. Just a simple glance at the valve whenever you go to your car then lets you know if you need more air in the tyres. I even have one on the spare - after all - who ever checks their spare tyre, and then when you go to use it .....??

Dangerous
Poor to the point of being down right dangerous. The top of the cap is poorly fastened on and several of them came off in use having the effect of a fast puncture, letting all the air out in a few seconds. I have stopped using them.Read full review
