Dell laptop charger

I bought this charger to see if my brothers old laptop still worked, and I have been using it for around three and a half months now with no issued of any kind, solid build and I have left it on all night more than once with no overheating issues it makes a whirring sound if left on with the laptop switched off but still does not overheat it's all good.

The only problem which was scared my friend I did order this product for him, that the charger when it was working did such audible whistling.

Noisey, very noisey! Built with very cheap parts that will not last. I have seen cheap chargers catch fire before, avoid!

Gets very hot and that high pitched squeal drives me insane! Very cheap and will not last the year.

Something not right

On my laptop it disabled the mouse pad to the extent I couldn’t use it at all - very slow and not calibrated, very bizarre. However did work ok on another laptop that uses same charger.

Charges laptop with 1 major flaw

The charger is not grounded properly, meaning that the touchpad mouse control doesn't work while the laptop is on charge unless you put your other hand on the metal case of the laptop.
