I always worry with magnifying glasses as they can distort the words easily but this is quite clear. My mum has macular degeneration-so is slowly losing her sight and this has really helped her to be able to read her I Pad. The fact that it is hand free is also an advantage. Would recommend. I wrongly assumed as it was LED lit it would have batterries. Nope, but figuring out how to get them in has been a mission. it take 2 AAA batteries and as the frame is so flimsy that you nearly break it trying to open the battery compartment. The screen is clear and a good magnifier

I ordered this to help me see a cross stitch kit I’ve been struggling with. Considering it only has two small led bulbs it has a very bright light that lights up exactly where I need it.
