Staying alive for even two days is a challenge even in the daytime. You will need food and water, use your head and you will stay alive longer. Scavenge through old buildings, cars and rubbish to find many useful items avoiding the undead. I quickly learned how to build an axe, cut as much timber as possible during the daytime hours and construct a stronghold before it gets dark. Every 7 days a horde of zombies will attack and surround your base camp and look for a way through.
