I was looking for a charger that would allow me to program the functions like charge and discharge rate so if i'm in a rush i could fast charge and if i have time to spare on a slower rate - which always gives the batteries more capacity.
This was the only one i could find on ebay.
It allows me to get the best out of my batteries and also tells me the condition they are in.
I have used the discharge / charge refresh to liven up some old batteries that were pretty much useless after charging on my old bog standard charger (would'nt take much charge), ok it did not revive them to their full potential but 800 ma / hr ones were capable of 600+ ma / hr after conditioning.
I bought a while ago from a far east supplier some very high capacity AA and AAA cells at a very - very cheap price and wondered why they ran out quickly, i put them in my new charger and discovered that they only held about 300ma / hr when the batteries were labeled 3000ma / hr - its the old saying you get what you pay for !
I would recommend this charger for versatility and value even though i've only owened it for a weekend.
