Don’t use if plants exposed to wind

I was initially pleased with these as they helped retain moisture under the plants and seemed to give the stems support but the plants had started wilting and on closer inspection they rubber has worn away the stalk at the bottom of the plant. Have just removed them all and 15 out of the 18 cabbage plants are so damaged I think they’ve had it. Not sure if this is caused by wind moving the plants back and forth against the rubber but I’d avoid them if you have any wind just in case. An expensive mistake on my part as collars useless and lost 90% of my crop in the process.Read full review...
