The best feature of this well done film is that the story is told realistically with actors that reflect the ups and downs, joys and frustrations and hopes and despairs of a family going through this long term adjustment to a crisis that brings out the best and the worst of the participants. The title is 90 minutes in Heaven: I was expecting to see a story about a person who visited heaven. It was 85 minutes of a man getting well - the title was misleading. A true life story that will inspire you forever.

When you see what this man went through to live it makes you realize how precious life is to each one of us. When the pastor told him how he came upon the accident scene and tore the trunk open so he could get in and pray for him and how they sang together. Don told him that he remembers him holding his hand; but the pastor said he could not reach him to hold his hand. That is the most inspiring part of the movie.Read full review

This movie is a very good movie. However, it starts out a little slow and gets better. The subject matter was good, but I think the title is a bit misleading. The main subject of the movie is not about this man's "90 Minutes" in Heaven. It was more about his recovery and faith. He doesn't really talk about his glimpse of Heaven until close to the end of the movie, and I thought there would have been a lot more detail about his glimpse of Heaven. However, I thought it was a good movie and I would recommend it. Not for the younger children because there are some pretty gruesome scenes after the auto accident.Read full review
