Another Great Dark Fantasy from Joe Abercrombie
The latest book in the First Law series (if you haven't read the series, you need to start with The Blade Itself) This is cracking - set a few decades after the last one, most of the protagonists are the children of the favourites from the first 6 books. Time has moved on and an industrial revolution has hit Adua, creating social unrest at home, whilst war rages in the north. It's fantastic stuff - Abercrombie is the best fantasy wwiter currently...I can't understand why this stuff isn;t on telly yet like Game of Thrones.Read full review...
