'Second time around'

Found this edition as fresh and heartrending as my first viewing of the film many years ago.

The story line was as poignant and demanding on the emotions as it had been then.

Brilliantly acted - Judy Garland at her best - James Mason amazing - Jack Carson carrying
off his despicable role to perfection and what a refreshing change from the many slapdash comedy
roles he usually plays.
