"A Year In Provence"
My family and I travel often in Europe. We even consider moving or spending an extended amount of time in either Tuscany, Italy or Provence, France. After watching "Under the Tuscan Sun" for the um-tenth time I remembered an older series which depicted a family spending "A Year In Provence" and decided to try to locate the entire series. In my search I learned that from most local businesses I could obtain the entire series, in four parts, for fifty to one hundred dollars. Having never shipped or bought from ebay before I was somewhat hesitant. One afternoon I decieded to try. Within an hour I had located and purchased the entire set for 4.95 with the shipping being about the same. It was on its way. My mistake was that I requested that the series be sent regular mail...a much longer process. I will request a faster method in the future. The individual from whom I made the purchase was very professional and up front with the description of the product, I would certainly recommend her and purchase from her again. We have enjoyed watching the entire series several times, shared it with our daughter, and now are shareing with friends. Each time we watch we see something new and our exticement for our own "Time in Provence" is building.Read full review...
Most dialogue in French , too many scenes very dark
Does not come close to the warm portrait of the French or France as in the book

A Year in Provence
I had read the book and loved it so was curious to see the movie. I thought the book was better but that the movie was entertaining. I love collections and especially the really old movies.
